The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Dr Idriss Aberkane (29), French cognitive neuroscientist and entrepreneur.

Aberkane will be in South Africa as a guest of Alexander Forbes.

He will give talks in Cape Town, Bloemfontein and Johannesburg on topics including biomimicry and his work on finances.

Biomimicry is an approach to innovation that seeks sustainable solutions to human challenges by emulating nature’s time-tested patterns and strategies. The goal is to create products, processes, and policies—new ways of living—that are well-adapted to life on earth over the long haul.

Aberkane is passionate about the knowledge economy, geopolitics, the peace-industrial complex, the blue economy, cognitive engineering and more.

Humanity is creating knowledge faster than ever! Humanity created as much knowledge in the last seven years than in previous 15 000.

— Dr Idriss Aberkane

There is no greater melting pot than South Africa. You can’t have a great knowledge economy without a melting pot.
